LaunchAssetto Corsa (either via content manager or through steam) Navigate the menus with mouse and keyboard until I am in the pit, ready to drive. Click drive, wait for the view from the car to show up, then power on my HMD and connect to virtual desktop. At this point I can hear sound through the HMD speakers and see the game in cinema mode.

Hey everyone, been having issues with Assetto Corsa looking like shit in my VR setup.
Iwent from gbwSuite 2.5.2 to SOL 1.3.1, read the manual carefully, got all settings right, but FPS never got above 45 FPS (VR). Tried the simple PP filter, still never above 45 FPS. Tried the latest beta of SOL, still the same. Went back to gbwSuite and my FPS is back to 90 again. Left all other settings as they were.
Inthe video settings there should be a way to output as openVR. That should be how it goes to the headset. Also assuming you know to start SteamVR also so it can see your headset. I'm using the Quest 2 with the Link and I don't use OpenVR. I just launch it from the Content Manager after enabling Link in the headset.
Ialso have a rift-s. If you want to get it running you have to switch between monitor and vr. If you're using a controller it adds even more problems. #1. onearmedbandit Nov 28, 2020 @ 1:39pm. Everyone’s mileage varies. I’ve got over 800hrs in AC in VR and it’s pretty much the only game I play now. #2. onearmedbandit Nov 28, 2020 @ 1:50pm.
AssettoCorsa Competizione is a great game but isn't always kind to those of us who race in VR. Thankfully some community members came to my rescue when try
Fromthat article: "Assetto Corsa: Competizione (ACC) BTR’s sim/racing editor, Sean Kaldahl created the replay benchmark run that we use for both the pancake game and the VR game. AssettoCorsa Competizione. Oculus Quest 2 - best settings? I just got this game because my G923 stop working with Project Cars 2 and this seems to be a newer/good replacement. In general terms I feel the games are alike except that in Assetto the track is rendered "late" - I can see in the distance how is rendered by "pieces" not
Iknow the threads a bit old but i thought id give the solution i worked out last night.. seems ACC doesn't like HDR enabled in VR. go in your assetta corsa competizione folder . find the config folder. edit the in notepad .. find "useHDROutput" and set it to false ("useHDROutput": false,) Last edited by nomnom ; Jun 6
Assuminga high powered video card, what are the top 5 Content Manager and SteamVR setting to achieve the sharpest, most realistic visual COCKPIT view experience? I can start off and guess but I'm wondering what the general consensus is? Something like this perhaps: 1. SteamVR->Custom Resolution Multiplier 2. CM->Quality->MSAA>8x 3. CM

Thenenable MFAA, which will run AA x16 at the cost of x8 performance. As for pixel density, there is not much difference between 1.25 and 1.5, so you can lower it to 1.25 and adjust the all Graphics settings so that you can hit those 90 FPS. V-Sync really doesn't matter and does not affect the VR because VR already has a built in v-sync and ASW.
